Luscious' Poetry
Baroque At Its Best
I sit here, listening
My ears are ringing
Pachelbel plays
In my mind, it stays
The violins, crystal clear
So precise, my eyes build tears
Two candles lit
And here I sit
The livingroom somewhat clean
A mess was, in the past, seen
I rearranged again
Yet another plan
Canon in D Minor, plays on
I love this song
Seeing an orchestra in its splendour
At the end, people saying “Encore!”
This music also calms me
Especially when I get angry
The candles flicker once in a while
This moment causes me to smile
The music, soft grows loud
Gee, I love the way it sounds
My hands, gracefully conduct in the air
The atmosphere, still and fair
The music takes me to a far away place
The place, You, forever want to embrace
For me, to the mountains and hills
To the land, of long green grass and daffodils
To an open field, wide and free
This is where I would want to be
To run forever
This moment, I’d savour
To turnabout in circles
I’d love it all
The sky above me
Blue, and clouds, fluffy
Could You imagine the freedom?
Wanting more and then some?
Oh! - what a day that would be
Just to be wild and free
